Military is Asia's Only Aerospace Weekly and that of the Indian
sub-continent. Founded by Late Alka Sen,
a doyen of Aviation Journalism, the magazine commenced publication
on April 16, 1986 as a fortnightly and subsequently it became
a Weekly. For the last two decades.
INDIAN AVIATION - Civil & Military has served the aviation
industry in India and abroad.
INDIAN
AVIATION is published
every Friday for 52 weeks in a year. Three / Four weeks in
a month, it is published as an E- Weekly and once in a news
magazine format. It covers happenings in both civil and military
aviation in India in particular and the world in general.

The magazine covers all major air shows
in the world such as Farnborough International in the UK,
Le Bourget Saloon in France, Dubai Air Show in the UAE and
Singapore Air Show.

In India, INDIAN
AVIATION was commissioned to bring out Show
Dailies at Avia India 93, Aero India 96 and Aero India 98.
In Aero India 2001, we published two Show Specials and during
Aero India 2003 & 2005 we published four Special Issues
at the show. We also published three Show Dailies at Aerodrome
India 2005 held at Bangalore, December 2005.

A widely circulated magazine, INDIAN
AVIATION has become a reference material for
people connected with aviation in this part of the world.
The magazine is published by Hirak
Sen for Indian Aviation News Service Private
Limited, Mumbai, India. Pulak
Sen is the Editor-in-Chief.
Our Editorial Advisory Board is headed by
Air Marshal (Retd.) M. S. D. Wollen, a vetern Indian Air Force
officer and former Chairman of Hindustan Aeronautics Limited.
The other Advisors include, Admiral (Retd.) J. G. Nadkarni,
former Chief of the Naval Staff, Indian Navy, Lt. Gen. (Retd.)
N. S. I. Narahari, former Commandant, College of Combat, Indian
Army and B. K. Sinha, a former Deputy Managing Director of
Indian Airlines.
